WWE'12: Bigger, Badder, Better...and more Biased?!?

Yes everyone is excited for WWE'12 and the ass kissing has begun about how it is (or will be) the greatest thing EVER!!!  Now for people who know me I'm not an ass kisser.  I stand up and tell people how it is and this will be no exception.

Lets start with the new tag line.

so we went form:
2010 - It's your World Now (..but only of your a guy)
to:
2011 - This is your Moment (...but only if your Male)

and we're finally at 2012 - Bigger, Badder, Better! (and more biased?)

Well being that its "Badder"  what does that mean for PG and being Family Friendly?

You can't be PG,  Family Friendly and be Bad at the same time...

Being bad doesn't mean you can be cute and cuddly so the little kids like you.

Being Bad means fighting,  and violence, it means chair shots to the head  and being busted open

It means strong language  and stronger actions,  it means having Divas Vs. Superstars in a TLC Match

It means my female character chokeslaming the Undertaker through a table or making the Big Show tap out.

It means being sexy and kicking ass.   it means dropping the warmed over politically correct bullshit and having teeth and balls and not being afraid of stepping on toes or saying the wrong thing.

Do you think you're that "Bad" THQ?   I don't think so...    you want to prove me wrong?  I dare you!  so I'm calling you out!   This is like Cena and the Rock at Wrestlemania  you have from now until the game comes out.  So I don't mean to be Cliché but you better Bring It!    but I know you will punk out  I know you will disappoint me.  here is your chance not to.
-------
Now when THQ "Asked Fans what they Wanted in the game" I went and I told them this
exact thing. This was the actual post I posted on the website:

"1.Fix the skin chooser  put it back to the way it was where you could adjust it with
the sliders, the color and the tone those boxes for skin color was a terrible idea!  I can't
have the proper skin tone becasue of those boxes and no way to adjust it.

2. Make stuff like resiliency matter again,  what the point of having it if it is worthless.

3. I would have to say I favor the 2 Button Reversal system, have the one for strikes and
one for grapples seemed to work better then the one button thing. I find the one button does
not work as good as the 2

4. Make the Durability ability and Finisher button 2 separate buttons.  right now they are the same.
In a match you should be able to hold down something like select to activate the Durability "heal"
ability  leaving the Finisher button free to be used when needed

5.  Fix the grapple system.  the chain grapples are no good online and the situational grapples
just add fuel to the cheaters.  if your groggy all the time you can't really defend yourself.

6.  all Superstar and Diva parts used to make the preloaded WWE characters should be
available in create mode.  things such as the Undertakers tattoos and Mickie James' hair style
should be selectable and be able to be added to a created character.

7.  Make the game gender neutral again.  get rid of the stupid Mix Tag option and its stupid DQ rules for hitting female characters.  Make it so  once again Superstars created or other wise can fight Divas.  if you do this, this will make people happy again and generate more fun and interesting matches and more people will be playing the game again.  If you don't believe me read this thqletter4svr.blogspot.com/  we need to get back to the way it was in svr09 where we could have Inter gender Tornado Tags and Battle Royals.  Now if you don't want to put it back to that at least make it a choose able option.
In the section where you create a match (for online for example) it says either Superstars or
Divas all you have to do is add in a 3rd option of Anyone or Anybody or Everyone it doesn't
matter and have it be Superstars or Divas or Everyone.

That way if people want only Superstars then they can have it, if they just want
Divas then they can have that or if they want to really open it up and really have fun
like I do they can select the 3rd option.
or Just have it so you can turn off the DQ in Mixed Tags.
putting this like this was the worst idea in the history of SVR ideas!

7A. Also make it so Divas can compete in any match type,  and make it so they can compete against the Guys in any match type as well.

8.  what was the point of the level cap?  I thought it was all "Good news! no more grind in career more, this year you get all the points you need/want"   yeah I can see how that worked out.. I was quite happy grinding away in career mode,  that gave me an opportunity to feel out the game and change things along the way before going online, also I was able to put my stats the way I wanted them.  Not the way I was told how they should be.

9.  As for some thing DLC related  you should be able to possibility download some individual entrance tracks or maybe some music packs and be able to use them in both offline and online situations.  I would love to be able to use Layla's theme entitled "Nasty Girl"  for my entrance music online like I did in SVR09.

10.  Call Names/Ring Intros:   Enough of the random words!  No more "The Bruiser"  or "The Fall Guy"  and trust me not every girl wants to be called Angel!  you try being in a 6 Diva match where everyone is called Angel!   Now true some of the words are useful I know people who use "the Monster"  and "Mr.Amazing"  some of them are good and make sense but what we need more of is real people names  you know I would love it if I could come out to my name just once.  "On their way to the ring from Canada, Shannon!"   that would be awesome!   and is it hard no?   am I asking for much no... is it do able? YES!  hell I was "Sexy Girl"  in SVR09 and I was happy with that.  but you had to go and take that away from me also  I've been "The Superstar"  for both SVR10&11  and I hate it!  if your going do do random words put in stuff like "The Queen" or "Naughty" or how about "Jones" but we need more real people names and you can start with mine.

11.   If you don't like Number 7 then how about doing this:

in an Online Match as well as and Offline match everything should be adjustable.
For a video game that purports to give the player ultimate control over their creations and
the in game Universe it does a terrible job of it.

everything and I do mean EVERYTHING should have an off/on switch

Blood off/on
Weight Detection off/on
Diva Vs. Superstars off/on
Stamina System off/on
Weapons off/on
Tap Out/Submission off/on
Ring Out off/on
DQ off/on
Ect..

That's the way it should be. simple as that and with that everyone can be happy and play how they like in what ever match they like in anyway they want to do it. if some people what to go and do an ultra realistic match simulation then they can adjust the I guess you would say stipulations anyway way they want to achieve that .
I for one don't want to play an ultra realistic match simulation, i want to have fun and do crazy stuff and be silly have a good time, power bomb the Big Show, punch the Undertaker in the face and win the Royal Rumble while enjoying my online play with my Male and Female friends at the same time.

12. Make the Brand logo that was created in Paint Tool be visible online
instead of that gray thing.having my brand logo would be cool. "

---------
Now with that said there as been a new interview this Brian Williams concerning WWE'12
the first part is here the others are there also: http://youtu.be/flU1i72uc9I

Now I don't know this Brian Williams guy personally but I think THQ gets him
to talk to people mainly becasue  he comes off as this young looking, fun, likeable,
animated guy, he speaks very well and is always smiling and somewhat joking around.
I think the PR department sends him out becasue they see him as being
relatable to the fans.

Now after watching the Whole interview I picked out some key things that he said and commented on them

"Were going back to the roots of what made the smackdown series fun to begin with"

Well for 10 years the series was gender-neutral, where Divas could fight Superstars
and vice versa that alone made the series fun for many people and is part of the series'
roots but I doubt it will be in this new game.

"We want you to play how you want to play opposed to how we're forcing you to play"

Uh, yeah I don't think this is going to change on my end of the stick which is already
very short as it is. I'm going to be forced to play a certain way regardless of what he says.

"We want you to be happy about the game"

I use to be...

"Were doing this for you guys, and we want to give you your money's worth"

That seems similar to what he said last year:

"SvR2011 is dedicated to the fans and what they want"

to which I replied "Well I'm a fan and you're not doing me any favors!"
becasue taking away the ability to enjoy the game with my friends both male and female
at the same time limits my enjoyment of the product.

"We don't want to dum it down or take away any functionally from the passed"

we all know this is BS becasue they have already done it.

Also not one word about Divas, just goes to show how important we are...
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't any Divas in the game at all.
--------
Well I guess that's it then..  according to creative director Cory Ledesma  (this guy)
said in regards to  Divas Vs. Superstars in the new up upcoming WWE'12

"its out of my hands. Male vs Female violence is obviously something WWE and THQ wants to avoid promoting in a teen rated game."

"gender restrictions are the same. We have to follow what happens on WWE TV. We are not allowed to add this back in."

which is kind of stupid when you think of it. like the post below this says it was in the games from the very first Smackdown (2000) right up to Smackdown Vs. Raw 2009.    they never promoted it, it was just always there and it made the games far more fun and enjoyable.

Also people still tell me to stop complaining about it.  Well like I said I don't complain if there is nothing to complain about, I'm not that type of person but this is worth complaining about becasue it is unfair to a great majority of players.  That is why I'm mad with pretty much the whole thing. WWE/THQ is as far as the women are concerned they are two faced and hypercritical  they say one thing and do another.

So I guess until women start having matches against men *cough* Beth in Royal  Rumble *cough*  you won't see this in WWE games any more,  no matter what anyone says.   and do you know what makes me sad? The number 1 thing right now that everyone is concerned about isn't this..it isn't game play or move set,  the number one thing people care about in WWE12 is whether Randy Orton will have a beard or not...that's your WWE Universe...

This is what a Male player told me in regards to Cory Ledesma's statment:

Gender restriction is dumb and it alienates female players who don't like choosing Superstars to represent them and don't want to be stuck facing Divas forever. And vice versa. Especially online this is problematic because it segregates as mentioned previously. Not everyone wants to play as the opposite gender just to have matches with that gender. Somehow I think if we lived on the fictional planet "Angel One" this would be a non-issue. If it was still an issue, the men would be complaining about the lack of equality in WWE games instead of the women, like they do now. I would like it in so I could play with and/or against my fiancee without her having to choose a Superstar or worry about DQ from accidentally touching a Diva.

Also on a side note Cory Ledesma wants you (the consumer) to stop buying Second Hand games!

--------
Now I have to say  that it is funny and that Cory Ledesma is an ass..   take a look at
the statement above where he says "We have to follow what happens on WWE TV"
in the words of the Miz "Really?" so on WWE TV  which is of course WWE Programing,
you are not allowed to take chair shots to the head anymore, Also have you ever noticed
that no body bleeds anymore in the WWE?   No one gets "busted open" as they use to say.
but yet that is still in the game?   true "Divas"  aren't allowed to bleed  heaven forbid a
woman cuts her lips on a tooth during a match.  but still "Superstars"  can take chair shots
to the head and bleed in game but can't on TV.

That leads me to another point which is somewhat the reverse.  They don't want
Women VS. Men but yet they do that on WWE TV  but wait a minute??
"gender restrictions are the same. We have to follow what happens on WWE TV"
if I'm not mistaken the clip below is from WWE TV:

I know you might say "oh but that was before the PG Era"  I don't know if you
noticed at the start of the video in the upper left where it says "PG"   now I know
she is not fighting Triple H or the Undertaker but still  she is going one on one with a
MALE Superstar!   but apparently according to THQ this doesn't happen on WWETV so
it isn't in the game.  Now there is 58 likes on that video and
what happens when she wins the crowd cheers!  they don't boo, they cheer!
There are plenty of matches like that and correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Tough Enough
WWETV also?  I know it is not the same as Raw or Smackdown but they still had matches
and I believe I seen Ivelisse scoop slamming Eric Watts on tough enough
(I think those are the right people)

Now that brings me to my next point  The Royal Rumble.  Why can't I compete in the
Royal Rumble while using my Female character?   you might say
"Women can't be in the Rumble!"  well lets have a little look at this video, its called
"WWE Royal Rumble: By The Numbers"
this short little video appeared before the 2011 Royal Rumble, Lets watch!

Now if you notice at the slider mark of 1:22 it clearly says 2 women competitors,
Chyna and Beth Phoenix but wait a second,  if both Chyna and Beth Phoenix can take
part in the Royal Rumble, why can't I?
remember THQ said "We have to follow what happens on WWE TV"  correct me if
I'm wrong but doesn't The Royal Rumble count as WWETV?   from what I'm being
told its not...

*UPDATE!*

As of January 29th 2012 Kharma (aka Awesome Kong) is now the 3rd Woman
to enter the Royal Rumble and yet chances are women will get to do this on
the game? doubtful.. why?  simple:
"Male vs Female violence is obviously something WWE and THQ wants to avoid
promoting in the game, We also have to follow what happens on WWE TV"
Yet they allow it on their programing...

---------
Now with that said we move on to another problem the 6-person tag match.
I remember around the time SVR2011 was coming out that THQ said that it was
Impossible for 6 divas to be in the right at one time, due  to the way the hair was
on the models and if 6-Divas were put into the ring at one time it would crash the
game engine.   That was later proven to be totally Bullshit!
because you can have 6-Divas in a Armageddon Hell in a Cell.  I personally have been
in a few and actually one one and it was online no less and it ran smoothly with no
problems.   After this was pointed out THQ changed their answer saying
That you can't have 6-person tag matches because of the "Diva Hair models"
to which people pointed out you could make 6 Male CAW/CAS and give them
Long "Diva Hair"  and put them in a 6-person tag match and nothing happens.
the game still runs smoothly.

Now with the up coming WWE12,  THQ  again said that it will be impossible
for 6-Diva Tag matches to take place and the reason given for the inability to
do this?   "Women have "curves"  Yes that was the reason handed down by
Cory Ledesma himself!   a woman's  "curves" will prevent them from having
6 Diva Tags and this did not go over well with the Female players and fans

One female player had this to say:
"I'm so mad the divas get overlooked again, how hard is it to make
6 diva matches? Hell they wasted their time making 2 versions of
Orton...let's face it thq, much like wwe,  don't give a crap about the
divas no matter how much they promise more focus."

"They want to make the game more realistic, they know the fans have
been asking for this. So why don't they try to work on it? They work on
other insignificant details of the game but no...divas like always get pushed
aside. Heck if something is wrong for the men, like Orton's punt yea we'll
definitely change it, no doubt about it but no divas...there's next year..and
the year after that...and after that. Marcus promised more diva focus but from
what I'm seeing he either forgets a lot or THQ don't give a crap for divas and
diva players. Divas always get the short end of the stick, I'm not talking about
restrictions cause I kind of agree with that but moves, Beth's GlamSlam,
Melina's split, the faithbreaker, entrances like Eve's. It's like they just put in the
divas from last year's game and call it the divas roster. I'm surprised they change
the models. THQ must remember that there are still female players buying the game
and they too wish that their voices would be heard every once in a while. And now
year after year we're being ignored.  For me the game never changes because I
never play as superstars so I don't know the improvements and since they
never do anything with the divas I feel as if I'm playing the same game as last year's. "

Another Female player had this to say:

The funny thing is that THQ released this comment apologizing to the diva
fans after the release of the 2011 game:

“Divas…what can I say? You guys clearly want our game to have a bigger Divas influence.
I’ve expressed this to our team, and we’ll see where it comes out in the future.
You guys shouted from the rooftops about Divas, so it’s going to force us to take

a look and see what we can do. ”

What did they do? Exactly, NOTHING again.

They will keep it as it is, bring up a excuse or two about how WWE  "doesn't let them"

(yeah right...) and that's it!  I highly doubt that WWE doesn't let them having
6 diva tag matches when they are taking place every week in smackdown and this
week even in superstars.

A few months ago we also had a 8 divas match in superstars and two weeks ago

a 14 divas(I admit the match was a joke but still) match aswell.
The limitations they are bringing up as a excuse (yes, unfortunately it is one),

are all modeling based.

Saying that a engine can hold 6 very muscular male caws with long hair

and tons of other stuff but not having the possibility to hold 6 slim divas because
of their "curves" is indeed bullshit. Sorry.  Before that they said it was the hair,
now are the curves, what comes next?

"Oooohhh couldn't apply ANY divas in the game cause we couldn't apply

their make up on the models"?

If you have a real problem to add something or don't wanna add it,

then be a professional and give away the real reason.
Making such statements like the ones they did makes them only look

unprofessional.

Most of all when they promise year after year that "this and that" will be

added in the next game, only to come up with such statements when the
time has come all over again and give another empty promise to the players
so they will still buy the game in the hope to get these things in the next game.

Then when everyone notices that they got fooled, rinse and repeat.

The only real technical issue they might have could be the most obvious

thing: space on the disc if the new engine needs more.
Due to this they obviously drop out everything they consider as not

being high priority while adding ortons beard that is high priority
as example.

He is a wwe cashcow and many people would be buying their product

because of him after all.  Of course its normal that they will go for things
that sell first, they are a company after all, but at least come up with a real reason
instead of lame excuses."

and finally from this player:

"Nothing doesn't look like its going to change either when WWE 12 gets here if their
really focusing on just game play.  WWE is limiting us on purpose probably to just
piss every diva fan off which is why we get quick one match shows with the
diva's on tv with really no story line which sucks."

As you can clearly see people are not happy about the game as it is right now.  in some
of the earlier games female characters seemed like they could do alot more then they started
slowly limiting what they could do, I think that was in part a tactic to see if anyone was paying
attention, but I do believe that that is the main goal to push out the Divas and Diva fans.

WWE'12 = EPIC DIVA FAIL!

WATCH THIS VIDEO!!

DOES THIS SEEM FAIR?
SERIOUSLY IS THIS FAIR TO THE FEMALE PLAYERS AND DIVA FANS?
THIS IS INNOVATIVE,FRESH AND NEW?
THIS IS WHAT YOU CONSIDER BIGGER,BADDER,BETTER??
ALL THIS STUFF IS THE SAME?!? WHERE IS THE NEW?
I'M SURE THE GUYS HAVE ALL NEW STUFF ADDED BUT NOPE
DIVAS GET THE SHAFT AGAIN!

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE NEW CREATE PARTS THAT WERE
SUPPOSE TO BE PUT IN?  I'LL TELL YOU, THEY ARE ALL MALE RELATED
PARTS!
HELL THERE IS WHAT 4 DIFFERENT RANDY ORTON MODELS?
THIS IS MORE PROOF THAT WWE/THQ HATES THE FEMALE PLAYERS
AND THE DIVA FANS!

JOHN CENA IS ON TV 2 SOMETIMES 3 TIMES A WEEK
PROMOTING "RISE ABOVE HATE"  BUT THEN THEY SEND
THE OPPOSITE MESSAGE WITH STUFF LIKE THIS
WHY DO YOU HATE US?

IF YOUR NOT PLAYING THE GAME AS ORTON OR CENA
OR EVEN THE UNDERTAKER, NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOU!
THE SAME GOES WITH CAWS IF YOUR CAW IS NOT MALE,
NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOU!
WE THE FEMALE PLAYERS AND DIVA FANS
AREN'T CONSIDERED IMPORTANT !
WE GET SECOND RATE AND LAZY DEVELOPMENT
IN SOMETHING CALLED "WORLD" WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT
 WE ARE SECOND CLASS CITIZENS!
WE ARE SECOND RATE, AND APPARENTLY DON'T DESERVE
THAT SAME AMOUNT OF TIME AND EFFORT THAT OUR MALE
COUNTERPARTS ARE AFFORDED.

I PERSONALLY THINK THEY ARE TRYING TO DRIVE
AWAY THE LAST REMAINING FEMALE PLAYERS AND/OR
DIVA FANS AND I WOULD NOT BE SURPRISED IF A POSSABLE
WWE'13 WILL BE DIVA FREE.  I THINK THAT IS THE ULTIMATE
GOAL OF WWE/THQ .

How they ruined Smackdown VS. Raw

Around mid April of 2010 after playing Smackdown VS. Raw 2010 and
being displeased by by the "New and Exciting changes"  they had made to the game series
I decided to wright to THQ and tell them what I thought of the game. I had posted it on
a few sites but I think this will be its permanent home so below is the actual letter
I sent them.

To Whom it may concern.

You want feed back I have some for you!
Now first off I love this series I have been playing
it since  Smackdown2: Know Your Role on PSone  and
second I am a female player so naturally my created
superstar is a woman. Now I have been using the same
character since the beginning I have recreated her
every year she went through a change here and there
be it costume, moves, hair, ect. and have had many
fun and exciting matches and games over the passed 10
years with my friends and others.
Now the problem I'm writing you about puts an end to
all the fun and enjoyment because you totally screwed
up SVR2010! Now how exactly how did you screw it up?
well let me ask you this how am I suppose to play
with my male friends both online and off if you turn
off the girls VS. boys?  How am I suppose to fight
them if I can only have matches against other girl
characters?
For example If you are the only girl in a room of
like 4-5 guys they aren't going to be all girls in a match
and I don't want to always play as a guy.  It was better in SVR09
when which I'm still playing cause I can play with my
friends online and off because I have like 7 online
female friends and over 40+ male ones and do you think
all the guys are going to play as girls in 2010? I
don't think so.
Now you might be thinking "Why doesn't she just play
as a male character in 2010" or "why not just do
Mixed Tag matches in 2010?"  well first off I do use
male friend's character from time to time but if I'm
just going to use a guy character then that defeats
the purpose of having my own. On the back of the
SvR2010 case it says and I quote:
"It's your world now"
it does not say "It's your world now,but only if your
a guy" and second  I have been doing mixed tags far
before your Brilliant Idea (and I do use the term
loosely) of including the mix tag option and you
even screwed that up by your instant and automatic
DQ.  If a person of the opposite gender (a guy) strikes the
other (a girl) the match is stopped and a DQ is declared
who thought this was a good idea?  Now I know that is
the way it is on WWE programing boys fight the boys
and girls fight the girls and I'm all for the realism
of the game but then again it is just a game if you
want to do stuff like that keep it confined to the
Story/Road to Wrestlemaina Mode.
In career mode as well as VS./Exhibition and as well as
online play. I want to fight whoever I want in whatever
match I want!!  If I want my female character to face down
the Undertaker in a Hell in a Cell I want the option
to do so.
If I want my female character to face Batista in a
Steel Cage I want the option to do so!!
as well as TLC,Ladder Matches and King(or maybe
Queen)of the Ring.
I want my female character to be able to do anything
the guys can and fight the guys while doing it!  If
you are going to do a SvR 2011 you should make
everything above possible for the best game experience.
I'd say your best series innovation: Custom Music
second best would have to be the ability to display
custom entrances online(2010).
your worst Idea: Making it impossible for Divas to
fight Superstars. No boys VS. girls makes me sad :(
Second worse: The stamina system I hated it ever
since it was introduced and we always turn it off anyway.
Also the reversal system in 2010 is near impossable.
True a one button reversal is a great idea...If it worked!
I find the 2 button one in 09 works better then the
one button in 2010.
So basically that's it you screwed it up and made it
less fun then it was before. Everything else is 2010
is pretty good now if you can combine 09 & 2010 and
add the "girls created or otherwise can do anything
the boys can do and fight the guys while doing it" It
will be probably the best of the series.
until then I'm going back to playing 2009.
Now I sent that off to THQ  in hopes that they would listen.  I received an
automated response saying that they were going to forward it to the right people.
and I left it at that.

The the announcement came that there would be a 2011 and I was excited
I though maybe they fixed the gender thing by taking it out  so I did have
high hopes. among all the excitement about the new physics and how stuff
looked and all that,  but what I wanted to know is did they take what I wanted
into consideration? and the answer was "NO"   because after hearing from THQ
I was told that in 2011 Diva's will once again not be able to  wrestle against the guys.
with a broken heart I asked "why?"   and I was told  "Because that is how
WWE wants it"   THQ  goes on to say that they have no decision making power
in this matter and that I will have to complain to WWE itself.

So I say fine I'll  take my complaint to the WWE itself becasue I
complained to THQ at first being that they are the ones that published the game
and True I know WWE has some say in
what goes in but still it was a THQ product.

During all this I was chatting with a friend online about this whole thing
I was joking around with him on PSN about this I was all " Wrestling is a
Male dominated thing and I'm a girl so what do I know about wrestling, right?"
(I was being sarcastic and implying i know nothing) he sent me a message back
saying "LOL, you and I both know that's BS!"

So I take my complaint to WWE and try to contact some who I can
bring up this issue and when I did get to speak to someone they seemed
disinterested in what I had to say but told me that they would get back to
me and they never did.

Now you might be wondering why this is important well
you know I just want people to understand that it feels like I'm getting the
short end of the stick here like I said I started playing on Smackdown2 for the
PS1 and went through ever game right up to 09 on PS3 and it was great and then
2010 came along and changed all.  It it just feels like I had something
(in this case the ability to fight the guys) and someone just came along and took
it away from me with out being able to say anything about it almost like it was stolen
you know that feeling. that is what has gotten me so upset about the whole thing and
ruined the enjoyment of the game.
sure i can still play it but I feel I can't play it to its fullest and really enjoy
it as much as I did.

Digital Audience
36% of our audience is female

Television Audience
35% of our viewers are female
(statistics taken from http://corporate.wwe.com/company/overview.jsp)
(these were the stats at the time of typing this)

I guess that 36&35% which I am a part of doesn't really matter after all.
being that I feel in a way that I'm being discriminated against because I
am a Female.

Also this is something easy to fix!  in the section where you create a match
(for online for example)  it says either Superstars or Divas  all you have
to do is add in a 3rd option of Anyone or Anybody or Everyone it doesn't
matter and have it be Superstars or Divas or Everyone.  That way if people
want only Superstars then they can have it, if they just want Divas then they can
have that or if they want to really open it up and really have fun like I do they can
select the 3rd option.  You might be wondering how will you get that passed people
who will complain?  DON'T TELL ANYONE! I know that would be hard to do but
you could also slip it in at the last minute it doesn't really matter.

Also what is being achieving from taking this feature out? Other then pissing off
alot of female players of the series. Alot of people have said
it has alot to do with woman's rights activist or spousal abuse reps.
which I think is rather stupid becasue
1. I don't condone violence towards women "in real life" like where
you hear about some guy stabling his girlfriend on the news that's not cool.
but on the other side of it were talking about stuff that isn't real.
Now I'm a big girl and can take care of myself. I was raised to be a
strong, confident, assertive and somewhat aggressive woman who is not
afraid to fight. Not afraid to break a nail or get my pants dirty. I don't need
some watchdog group to swoop in and protect me and tell me what
is or isn't suitable in my life and trying to shield me from
"all the bad things cause I'm some helpless lil girl" screw that!
like I said I can take care of myself and if I need help my guy has
my back. Now also I understand the whole things about sponsors and
what not but still I think I'm repressed and discriminated against becasue
of my gender.
Now If a guy is sick and simply wants to beat up women for no
reason that's HIS problem. He will find a way to do sick things otherwise!
I for one want to  boot up a game,Play as my character and have a knockdown
drag out fight with the Undertaker, why?  becasue that is fun
what would you rather do have a knock down drag out fight
3 stages of hell or Hell in a Cell with the Undertaker or
a singles match with Beth Phoenix for the 15th million time...

Also I don't know if anyone else knows this but the majority of the female
players I talked to would play as a Tag Team and enjoy doing Tornado Tags
with their husbands/boyfriends or other male person they knew be it brother/
cousin/friend and ever since the Diva restrictions starting in SVR2010
they didn't want to play becasue they can't play the same as they did in 09
Also plenty of people refer to the No Diva VS. Superstar restriction as being ridiculous.

Even Male players I have talked to did not like this change ones such player
said this and I quote:

"I can see how it ruins it for girls. My wife loved playing 2009 with me and
it was a good time bonding together... she would not play 2010 with
me for the same reasons. She doesn't want to play as a guy character... and

she doesn't like having to fight only girl characters. She wants to be able
to fight me, against my male character."

I would have to agree with him. In one of the "Stand Up for the WWE"
videos the person says:
"We (the WWE) produce a product that makes people
laugh and smile, we bring family's together"

well I'm not laughing or smiling about this and it isn't bringing
my "family" together much like the male player above I'm in the same
situation.  Like I said in the letter above  in 09 (and previous) My
boyfriend and I had great fun but as of 2010 we no longer play
this together he plays by his self and I play by myself : (
so honestly where is the fun in that?
You broke up our team and many other teams.  You can have
all the flashy physics and have tables break a million different ways
but all that doesn't matter if you can't play with the people who
matter.
(video in question is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=56eZS7rv5_k
the quote is from the bearded man at 1:14 on the slider)

Also this video states there are 6 Million Female viewers in the
US alone!  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X5quZdqiUTk
I'm from Canada so you probably have another few Million here
and this Female Fan is pissed off!!

Another male player said this and I quote:
"Honestly what they could have done is just not have the restriction
and let inter-gender matches be the choice of the player. This is like
when MAAD tried to shut down GTA4 because you could drink and drive in
the game. No ones telling you to drink and drive, but if they choose to
do it, let them do it (in-game, mind you). Same with the matches."

Same with matches, SVR is not telling you to go beat up women

but if a Superstar want to fight a Diva (or in my case Diva vs. Superstar)
they should be allowed to do it.

In a video interview one of the development team (Brian Williams, I believe) said
"2011 is dedicated to the fans and what they want"  Well I'm a fan and you're not doing
me any favors!

WWE is all about "Empowering Women"  I don't feel empowered I feel
hindered in my enjoyment of the product and I feel that this is segregation biased
on my gender and I feel discriminated against. To me this is like if someone creating
a character who is of darker skin (such as African American) and they tried
to play and were forced to only play against other characters of the same
skin tone (such as Ezekiel Jackson, Mark Henry, R-Truth for example)
that wouldn't be fun for them and not very fair.  I know people will say
that it is not the same thing but it is.
Discrimination and Segregation is not limited to one group of people, it does
do not care about Religion, Political standing, Race or Gender.

Sex segregation is the separation of people according to their gender.
The pejorative term gender apartheid (or sexual apartheid) has been applied
to segregation of people by gender, implying that it is sexual discrimination.
In some circumstances, gender segregation is a controversial policy, with critics
contending that in most or all circumstances it is a violation of human rights.

Vince Mcmahon is on wwe.com and youtube telling people to stand up for
themselves and that is what I'm doing I'm standing up for myself and every
other female player.

In closing I'll leave you with another quote from another female player I was
speaking with:
"what it's all really about is people who think one gender should have one place
in society and another gender should have another. i hate that with a passion. it's
so prejudiced and limiting. everybody should be able to enjoy a game in the same way
as anybody else with no stupid offensive restrictions... so, yeah.
it's good to know that other people out there still are pissed off at this, and I'm
not the only one left. thanks for expressing your view! people need to hear that sort
of stuff more."

But anyway that is it.I hope you liked reading this and agree with me
on at least some level. but thanks for taking the time to read anyway.

PS:  Here are some more quotes from other players

Tom Clark Correspondent for The Bleacher Report:

"Thanks for the link, Shannon. I appreciate your point of view. Having been in the business myself, I can tell you, from my point of view, that I consider women in the ring along the same lines as the men. Makes no difference to me how sexy they look, whether they're fat, thin, blonde, brunette, black, white, asian, whatever, if they can go, that's all that matters to me. I personally don't watch women's wrestling hoping to see a "wardrobe malfunction", I'm not interested in that. I am a wrestling fan, and if a woman can work, then she has a right to be in the ring, the same as any man out there. Thanks again for your perspective, and btw, I'm still sitting here with a PS2 and have yet to evolve to the next level. I have all the Smackdown vs RAW, all the way back to the beginning myself, and have always loved the series. Perhaps WWE's point is that they don't want to encourage violence against women? Of course, that is ridiculous, considering how many times The Dudleys put women through tables several years ago. Truly hippocritical on their part."

A Male player I spoke to said this:
think It should be back... that's why videogames aren't progressing to become intergender they are limitating women.... If gaming wants to get to another level they should kill the belief that only men play videogames or that women only play Dancing, singing, Roll play dating, cooking and so on....If you don't want to wrestle against a Diva on the game just don't do it just change the oponent....If you don't want to do it online just leave the room and let her know that you don't want to wrestle her.
A Female Player of the series had this to say

The option needs to be in the game. Remember people, it is a game. The option should be there so the player can have what ever experience they want. And you close minded people need to realize that. Making video games exactly REAL takes out the fun of playing a game. And for real wrestling fans like me, it's not about man on women violence. It's about wrestling and competition. There are plenty of other wrestling leagues out there that have men and women wrestle each other and ignore the gender factor. The problem is most of you people only know women wrestlers as divas. And those are the most feeble and worst wrestlers. There are plenty of women wrestlers out there that can hang with the guys. Shoot, ALL of the Shimmer ladies can wrestle better then that loser the Miz. I know that I want to use women and beat up the poor wrestling guys.

If you people want REAL so much. Then no weapon shots to the head. No big guys ever take a long fall. No crazy air and TB CaF. Don't like that, do ya? See, a video game needs a little bit of unreal.
And Finally another Male player had this to say:

I want it returned not cause i like to hit women cause i don't. I want it back to have memorable again matches like how Chyna won the WWE Championship, When Kane destroyed Trish, When the Dudleys boyz put girls threw tables, When Beth Pheonix annihilated Santino, etc. its not an abusive thing and besides what about these "equal rights?" If a woman is going to claim to be a wrestler she should be prepared to actually wrestle. Besides i wouldn't mind powerbombing annoying "divas" like Melina, Maryse, etc. through a table or two am i right? I mean you yourself aren't actually doing this its just a game regardless of how so called "realistic" it is. It will not be you it will be character who is based off you just not really you. If you have high morals fine don't wrestle the Divas but don't look down on us for wanting to shut the mouths of the snobby, uppity, annoying wenches. Just let us have our Diva beat downs and stop being cowards about it and be afraid of oh what will the parents think. Oh I don't approve of men hitting women, oh this game promotes violence towards women. No it wont promote anything if the guy is an abusive a-hole guess what he'll always be an abusive a-hole a game is not got to make him do anything he hasn't done or thought of before. Let me have ultimate control as they so blandly through out since the last 3 games which i feel like i didn't truly get to do and let me make the Bella's tap out or KO Mickie James.

And now the greedy reason I want it back, My female friend is uberly sexiest and will not make a male wrestler so we cant wrestle in the game as out male Caws against her because of this. So we have to use Divas with our movelist and its just not the same in the slightest.
So there you have it people what this back, so what are you going to do about it?
if the Divas VS. Superstars is not reinstated in Smackdown VS Raw 2012 then its
not coming into my house, I'm done, I'm finished.
I'll find some other game to play.
